For Sale: 1970 F-85 W-31 Needs Restoration
For Sale: 1970 Oldsmobile F-85 W-31 2 door post, one of only 207 produced. Factory 4 speed car, Rally Pac (tach and gauges), four spoke cushion grip steering wheel, also c/w GM Historical Services of Canada documentation to prove the car is legit. Block not original, but is a vintage OLDS 355 (30ths overbore), with #6 heads, correct factory aluminum intake, motor has been rebuilt to correct specs which is 325 HP. Super T10 transmission (from a 1975 Trans Am big block), BOP 12 bolt diff, 70,000 miles on body, excellent frame, solid body with minimal rust located on the lips of the rear wheel openings. Car is complete other than original am radio is missing, there is no carb, original wheels were removed and replaced with slotted mags back when it was new, and the windshield was cracked and removed when the car was disassembled. The body is still on the frame, the doors and trunk lid are still on the car as well. It's a rolling chassis. Car was purchased brand new here in Winnipeg and was mostly used as a summer car. It has been off the road sine the early 1990's. One re-paint back in the early 1980's and they deleted the white stripes. Car is Astro blue with a blue bench seat interior. Interior is in real good condition, except the rubber floor mat (brand new repro carpet included). All the parts have been bagged and tagged, plus the the boxes are marked as well with the contents of each. The original cold air induction hood is in excellent condition as well. The original air cleaner is all there, but the snorkel was stepped on at some point and will need fixing. Rare car, factory 4 speed, GM documentation, nice easy project is you are handy. $8700 US.
